Western Access Program

Western Access Program participants at Lake Burrendong in February

Students studying through the Western Access Program travelled to Lake Burrendong near Wellington to take part in a 'getting to know you' camp.

Our three Year 11 students Codie, Mark and Zac, accompanied by Miss Ariana Cormie spent two days getting to know fellow students and teachers.

Along with students from 16 other schools, the boys were involved in canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing and mini olympics. as well as face to face classes with teachers they will normally only see on a TV screen.

Activities were designed to encourage the interaction students usually experience in a classroom so as to make for more beneficial discussion and study with the students they will only 'see' twice a week for half an hour at a time during video conference lessons.
